Friday Evening
Deep thoughts during these wet window stares
Closed eyes always reveals what's fair...
Nothing, because from nothing everything exists
Imagine, everything you view starting on a blank canvas
Then poof, the light gives discover to expression
Light chuckles at my logical implications
Ironically the quick temper younging I once was gave seed to a softer reflection
Who finds delight when its daylight out as if the night needs correction
For that aha yet funny moment to hear words from a 3 yr old say she's happy when its sunny
Now hits different when the world is engulfed by ways of making more money
When happiness resides at the duality of choice
Those devilish options at times speak using your own voice
While you lone wolf your huntings refusing to punt on your 4th plays
That rahrah chest beat bass in your voice fades
During that please god way of asking
But do you please God with consequential actions
Cant pray for positive outcomes
Without paying what its taxing
Do your physical desires claim priority
Before your spiritual needs of fasting
Another Friday night with rain
In my thoughts again
Progression is motive everyday
I dont pause to win
Time waits on no man
I heard that line within
Back to the grind again

A Day in Autumn
Humbled to reach the peak of my heart's desire
Baffled at the shortened time it expired
Riddled with questions to the circumstances that haunt me
Resilient to it all attempting to remain as positive as I should be
But above all let me not burden you with my plight
Pointing out the clouds in the sky on another day in life
Better yet encourage you to shine with your beauty in its light
You are one of a kind being redundant if I might
You are one of a kind every given day and night
Lucky am I to be the guy that I am
Lucky are we to have the gem that we share
For her existence is a blessing we bear
The weight on our shoulders overcoming our woes
Roaming peaks in our valleys that's finding highs in our lows
Your presence is an addiction that comes with a glow
I wish I know the code to it's switch
The switch that embodied your love in a kiss
The switch that evolved that love one with a kid
The switch that at some point in time did exist

Thanking the most high for a new day, glory
Thinking of how to put this love into a story
You see this love likes expression not something I store away

Long time no see
Not sure if I really have viewers on here... Lost my domain name of onegrind.com to a squatter. I can't blame anybody but myself because I should've renewed my domain when I was able to... my fault...
Well I still have my joestew.net domain... this page will become my blog to that domain..
My music will be in full effect from here on out... don't care what response I get... I know I'm talented and I get goosebumps thinking about making new content and following my heart...
